Can I just tell you how many resolutions I've broken in the past 26 years of my life? Probably every single one of them. I'm hoping this year will be different and blogging about my resolutions will help keep me in check with them. So without further adieu I present my 2009 resolutions.
- Volunteer in the local community at least once a month with my children. This will be my most challenging resolution because my boys are 3, 3, and 1. I'm excited to see what opportunities our area offers for younger kids to lend a helping hand.
- Lose those last stubborn 10 lbs. that I've yet to shake from the twins pregnancy. I think this was my resolution in 2006, 2007, and 2008... granted I did have another baby in 2007 but the 10 lbs. is still lingering.
- Find one new way each month to reduce, reuse, or recycle. We're only talking about 12 new ways so this should be in the bag. Considering I'm an eco-blogger, total mortification will occur if this resolution gets broken.
I'll update along my journey in 2009 with what I've done each month to stick to my resolutions. Maybe I'll stumble across some new cool thing to share with you in January!
What are your resolutions for the New Year? Do you have any past resolutions you're proud of sticking to?
p.s. I should add another- blogging for you regularly!! Now that the holidays have passed you can expect to hear more from me! :)
